HIV / AIDS

Living with HIV/AIDS

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a virus that slowly destroys the body’s ability to fight infections and the cells of the immune system. The most advanced stage of the disease is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), which is manifested as a combination of specific diseases, symptoms and infections. Over the last decade, advancements in medical treatments have significantly helped delay the onset of AIDS.

Medication Therapies

First introduced in 1996, a combination of antiviral drug therapies has significantly improved the survival rate among HIV-infected individuals. We carry a wide variety of antiretroviral medications from the very first zidovudine (AZT) that is still widely used today to the latest combination therapy on the market.

We assist our patients with access to these medications by working with healthcare providers, health insurance companies and care workers to create a simple, seamless delivery. We also have an automated refill system and offer free delivery service to ensure compliance and ease of access.

Antiretroviral therapies we carry include:

  • Atripla
  • Complera
  • Descovy
  • Emtriva
  • Epzicom
  • Genvoya
